We are Marmite!
Our modern and extended range of machinery consists of 8 production lines with a production capacity of 2,000,000 products a year. We have two plants which employ 700 people. We operate three shifts for 24 hours, five days a week.
Marmite is a combination of many elements, including individualised model of cooperation, unique expertise, superior material, quality, production capacity, design and other key factors. Our ability to compose, coupled with continued improvement, allow us to offer winning solutions tailored to the customers’ needs.
Marmite has started a bathroom industry revolution, with the introduction of extraordinary designs made using its own unique technology.
Our products have been honored with numerous design awards, among them: “Red Dot Design Award”, “If Design Award”, “German Design Award”, “Top Design Award” and “Must have and Good Design”.

Marmite history:
1973
Roger Johansson starts production
1975
Founding of Muscle Machine which name was later changed to Marmite
1979
Production of first washbasin
1987
Marmite begins producing shower trays and bathtubs
1989
Eightieth employee joins Marmite team
1990
Marmite relocates production to a greenfield site in Zakrzewo, Poland
1998
Development of spray technology that allows products to be offered in the colors of graphite.
2005
The annual production capacity exceeds 400 000 units.
2007
The plant in Sweden closes. Dynamic growth of Polish factory.
2008
Achievement of 13 mm thickness of products gives a possibility to design light line products.
2012
Marmite introduces Evermite, new innovative material.
2013
Company hires 500 employees.
2014
New on demand packaging system produces a shipping carton in the size needed, exactly at the point where the products are packed for shipment.
The first bathtub with integrated overflow.
2015
First awards.
2016
ISO 9001, ISO 14001 certificate.
Cranemere Group Ltd acquire 100% shares of Marmite S.A. and becomes only owner of the company.

Roger Johansson starts production
1975
Founding of Muscle Machine which name was later changed to Marmite
1978
Roger experiments with cast marble technology and builds the first mixing machine which later becomes the key to the success of Marmite
1979
Production of first washbasin
1983
Marmite production gain 1000m2, consists of 20 employees and a daily production of 50 units
1987
Marmite begins producing shower trays and bathtubs
1989
Eightieth employee joins Marmite team
1990
Marmite relocates production to a greenfield site in Zakrzewo, Poland
1994
Further growth. Marmite expands to western and eastern European markets.
1998
Development of spray technology that allows products to be offered in the colors of graphite.
2000
Installation of filters, incorporating activated carbon and catalytic converters enable the reduction of all emissions by 98%.
2005
The annual production capacity exceeds 400 000 units.
2007
The plant in Sweden closes. Dynamic growth of Polish factory.
2008
Achievement of 13 mm thickness of products gives a possibility to design light line products.
2011
Implementation of double mold technology for shower trays.
2012
Marmite introduces Evermite, new innovative material.
2013
Company hires 500 employees.
2014
